SSFF 2026 in Alvin, Texas & Williamsburg, Virginia

The 2026 edition of our festival will be hosted by Alvin College, a public community college in Brazoria County, Texas and the Arts at William & Mary, a public research university in Williamsburg, Virginia.

The exhibit at Alvin College will run from October 12 - November 6 2026 and include one main projection screen, three large TVs and many pieces of physical art. The Arts at William & Mary will screen the film Underwater Projects on October 29 2026.

Special topic of this year's festival is water—its cultural significance, its ecological fragility, and the ways our collective usage shapes futures both local and global.
