UHCL Communication Major

I'm a student at the University of Houston-Clear Lake currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communication. I have graphic design and photography experience, and also enjoy working in the restaurant industry. In my free time, I love to photograph my backyard koi pond, play video games and watch a variety of series and movies.

Website and Social Media Manager

UHCL Graduate Student in Digital Media Studies

I'm currently a graduate student at UHCL pursuing a degree in digital and media studies.  I worked in the restaurant industry for most of my life, and decided to go back to school when I turned 40 so I could spend more time with my two beautiful boys (Chase and Cory). I earned my bachelor's degree in communication in 2015 and worked for many years with a PR firm before opening my own marketing firm, Elevated Marketing Solutions. I design and manage websites and offer graphic design services for my clients. I was working as a freelance graphic designer and writer for The SCENE Magazine until COVID came along and we stopped production. Because the majority of my clients were local area restaurants and bars, I decided to go back to school to get my graduate degree and learn more about the ever-changing field of digital media studies and video production. I'm very grateful for the opportunity and excited to work on this amazing project.
